Was this a trustworthy promise? Could submitting to a code of "restrictive" rules lead to freedom from sicknesses? Could this promise remain pertinent even in the twentieth century? Yes! Medical science is still discovering how obedience to the ancient prescriptions saved the primitive Hebrews from the scourges of epidemic plaques; and medical research is constantly proving the timeless potency of the divine prescription for modern diseases. Yes! Obedience to biblical precepts is still the most effective way to prevent many of the afflictions of mankind. Peace does not come from capsules. Peace can only come from the source of peace, who said to His disciples "Peace I leave with you my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled..(John 14:27) The studies in these classes are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment from specific medical conditions or disorders.
